וְעַתָּ֣ה אֲדֹנִ֗י חַי־יְהוָ֤ה וְחֵֽי־נַפְשְׁךָ֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר מְנָעֲךָ֤ יְהוָה֙ מִבּ֣וֹא בְדָמִ֔ים וְהוֹשֵׁ֥עַ יָדְךָ֖ לָ֑ךְ וְעַתָּ֗ה יִֽהְי֤וּ כְנָבָל֙ אֹיְבֶ֔יךָ וְהַֽמְבַקְשִׁ֥ים אֶל־אֲדֹנִ֖י רָעָֽה׃
Ora dunque, mio signore, come il Signore vive, e come la tua anima vive, vedendo il Signore ti ha trattenuto dalla colpa del sangue e dal trovare te stesso riparazione con la tua stessa mano, ora quindi lascia che i tuoi nemici e coloro che cercano il male nei miei confronti Signore, sii come Nabal.
